3t is currently looking to recruit a HSE / Skills Instructor on a permanent contract located in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

The Role
To deliver 3t’ approved suite of courses within the given technical subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’ business integrity and culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements.
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
* Apply 3t and where appropriate Client’s HSE Policies and Procedures.
* Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to.
* Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current Health & Safety Regulations & Legislation.
* Develop & update training materials, ensuring compliance with current HSE guidelines.

* Previous experience working as an Instructor / Assessor.
* Relevant qualifications and experience in the disciplines being delivered.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be diplomatic.
* Well-developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with a wide variety of people e.g. staff, clients, delegates.
* Proficient working knowledge of office IT systems including MS Outlook, Word & Excel.
* A highly organised but flexible approach to work activities.
* A professional appearance which appropriately reflects the role and the company’s image.
Preferred Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certification / Diploma
* Level 3 Award in Education & Training
* Recognised Assessor Qualification (SQA9DI / OPITO Competence Assessor)
* Recognised Internal Verifier Qualification (SQA-L&D11 / OPITO Internal Verifier)
Courses initially required to deliver
* CCNSG Safety Passport
* COSHH Assessor
* OPITO Safety Representative
* OPITO MIST
* Other HSE / Skills related short courses as required
