PBS Senior/Clinical Specialist - Hesley Group (10 Month Mat Cover)

We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Senior / Clinical Specialist to join us in supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to improve the lives of adults with learning disabilities. You will be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team within services and will also be part of our Therapeutic Services team, comprising Applied Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy.
This role is based in Copperclay Mews, Easingwold, with travel to other Hesley Group services as needed for meetings and service requirements.
This is a part-time, temporary role covering maternity leave for 10 months.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking candidates with:
1. Enthusiasm for engaging autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities in planning their futures.
2. Extensive experience working with autistic individuals and those with intellectual disabilities.
3. Experience in collaborative approaches to managing behaviours of concern and reducing restrictive practices.
4. MSc in PBS/ABA or equivalent, with a deep understanding of PBS principles and applications.
5. Experience in behavioural and skills assessments, interventions, and implementing PBS within MDT settings.
6. Experience in coaching, training, supporting staff, supervision, and service development.
Note: Applications from individuals with less extensive experience may be considered for the 'Senior' role rather than the Clinical 'Specialist' role.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Equivalent qualifications.
* Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or UK Behaviour Analyst (UKBA) certification.
* Registered member of the UK Society of Behaviour Analysis (UK-SBA).
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Training in clinical supervision and management or leadership.
Experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
* Advanced data analysis and communication skills.
* Expertise in functional behavioural assessments and holistic interventions.
* Experience leading training, coaching, and mentoring.
* Supervisory experience.
* Proven ability to improve service quality and lead initiatives.
* Research and clinical audit skills.
