PROJECT MANAGERCarbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to support technical M&E investigations, remediation, and closeout activities across complex facilities in Oxfordshire.ROLE: Project Manager - M&E / Building ServicesPAY RATE: NegotiableCONTRACT TYPE: May - September 40 hours per weekLOCATION: Oxfordshire, UK THE ROLE:The successful candidate will act as a technical M&E Project Manager focused on investigating, validating, and resolving legacy system issues across complex facilities.The role requires a hands-on and technically confident individual who can coordinate between operations teams, clients, and specialist subcontractors to drive investigations and remedial actions through to completion.The Project Manager will be site-based 5 days per week, working proactively to support client needs while managing highly varied technical and operational challenges across complex M&E systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct technical investigations across systems including fire alarms, electrical infrastructure, compressors, freezers, water, and air systemsReview commissioning records, O&M manuals, test results, and drawings to identify gaps and corrective actionsLead root-cause analysis activities and present findings and recommendations to stakeholdersCoordinate recommissioning, testing, repairs, and remedial works with subcontractors and specialistsAct as the key point of contact between client, operations teams, and contractorsSupport project controls including scopes of work, risk management, SHEQ/CDM compliance, and progress reportingEnsure all system documentation, asset data, and handover information is accurate and completeIdentify additional system issues and manage them through to resolutionMaintain strong stakeholder communication and contractor oversight throughout the project lifecycleESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:Proven Project Management experience within M&E, FM, or Building Services environmentsStrong technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, BMS, and life-safety systemsBackground in commissioning, technical investigations, engineering closeout, or remedial projectsExcellent stakeholder management and coordination skillsAbility to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilityGood understanding of CDM and SHEQ complianceBasic DBS requiredDESIRABLE:Technical qualifications within Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction disciplinesPrevious experience within pharmaceutical or highly regulated environmentsExperience working within complex critical facilities or live operational sitesGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
