Customer Service Advisor

📍 Location: Corby
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
💰 Salary: £24,525.35 per annum
📅 Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Recruiting on behalf of a valued client, we are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Coordinator to join a dynamic and customer-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service to play a key role in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll act as the vital link between clients, warehouse operations, and transport teams. You’ll be responsible for managing orders, resolving queries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process and manage customer orders with accuracy and timeliness.
2. Communicate effectively with depot staff to ensure delivery expectations are met.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
4. Investigate and resolve customer and supplier enquiries and complaints.
5. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
6. Maintain accurate data entry across internal systems and reports.
7. Generate customer KPI reports and compile data for invoicing.
8. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to empathise with customers and resolve disputes calmly.
11. Strong organisational and time management skills.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
13. Analytical mindset with good numeracy and financial awareness.
14. Professional, confident, and collaborative approach.
