We're looking for two enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Lecturers to join our successful English and Maths team at Peterborough College.

These opportunities have arisen as we continue to strengthen our provision and support more learners to achieve the maths qualifications they need for their future careers, apprenticeships and higher-level study.

As a GCSE Maths Lecturer, you'll play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and achieve qualifications that can transform their future opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver engaging and inspiring GCSE Maths lessons
• Support learners to achieve their individual goals and maximise their potential
• Plan and develop high-quality teaching and learning resources
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Use innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement activities
• Support learners with their wider study programme and progression plans

• Have strong maths knowledge and a passion for their subject
• Can inspire and motivate learners of varying abilities
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Hold a relevant maths qualification

Previous teaching experience is welcomed but not essential. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with industry, commercial or professional maths-related experience who are considering a move into teaching. Support and development opportunities may be available for candidates who wish to gain a teaching qualification.
