PURPOSE OF JOB:
To work with the Legal team to provide key support for efficient and effective contracts administration within the business with a focus on software and hardware supply, professional services and managed services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviewing and responding to legal issues and enquiries from both internal and external customers
Ensuring end-to-end management all contracts that pass through the Legal department – MSA, GTC, EULA, Reseller Agreements, Tenders, Frameworks
Reviewing key professional services Partner Agreements
Responding to general legal enquiries
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the Vendor Ops, Sales, Tenders, Finance and Services teams to provide support to partners, customers and suppliers in drafting relevant contracts
Drafting / redrafting and negotiating agreements
Representing Bytes in front of both customers and suppliers throughout commercial discussions and negotiations
Supporting the Legal team with contractual matters
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Qualifications
~ Degree in Business or Law - ESSENTIAL
Years of Experience
~1-2 years’ worth of experience in a contracts administration or legal administration role - ESSENTIAL
Other Requirements
Negotiation skills - DESIRABLE
A good understanding of both the UK legal system and commercial law - DESIRABLE
A general understanding of IT reseller relationships - DESIRABLE
Experience with public sector frameworks - DESIRABLE
