Title: FP&A Analyst (12 month FTC)
Salary: £65K - £75K + bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the largest developers and operators of affordable housing in the UK who are looking to onboard a Senior Capital Accountant. The business is well backed by a global investment manager and has seen tremendous growth having expanded the core finance team by 10 people over the last year and is currently spending over £50M a month in acquisition and development spend. The operational portfolio has now reached a size of over £1.8bn.
The business is tackling the housing crisis head on, with the social impact of their developments being at the forefront of their development strategy; creating spaces where communities can flourish.
You would be joining the core FP&A function working across the operational portfolio in conjunction with asset / portfolio management. In this role you would take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process modelling rent / turnovers / leasing structures / NOI / occupancy rates, etc. This team is responsible for "telling the story" behind the numbers and presenting to board and investors, and as such needs someone with strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Modelling cash flows, budgeting, rent, turnover, leasing structure and laddering.
* Presentation of weekly/monthly metrics, analytics and insights to the senior leadership team.
* Partnering with key business stakeholders to assess current trends and provide forward looking strategic direction.
* Ownership of the projection of all operational key metrics across the business for annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles.
Key Requirements
* Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) - ideally trainned in practice
* At least 6 months experience in FP&A or business partnering
* Excellent excel modelling skills
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with non-financial stakeholders and “tell the story” behind the numbers
