·Experience of teaching children across the primary phase
·Experience of working in an multi-cultural school
·Experience of working with children of varying needs
·Experience of working effectively -within a team, including leading support staff
·Experience of leading a curriculum area (desirable)
·Knowledge of the 2014 National Curriculum requirements across the primary phase
·Knowledge of how to devise an engaging and experiential curriculum.
·Knowledge of a range of assessment procedures, including formative and summative.
