Legal Secretary - Residential Conveyancing

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for your next opportunity in a well-established, client-focused law firm? Were currently recruiting a Legal Secretary to join a busy practice in North Ayrshire, with a particular focus on residential conveyancing.
In this role, youll support fee earners in all aspects of residential property transactions, from preparing and processing legal documents to liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders. Youll ensure files are kept up to date, deadlines are met, and clients receive a first-class service.
While experience in residential conveyancing is desirable, applications from secretaries with backgrounds in other legal disciplinesis welcomed.
Key responsibilities :
Preparing and amending legal documents and correspondence
Managing diaries, appointments, and court dates where required
Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
Assisting with completion statements, registrations, and other conveyancing tasks
Providing general administrative support to fee earners
Requirements :
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively as part of a team
This is an office-based role in North Ayrshire, though depending on your level of experience, there may be some flexibility on this.
