Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineering professional ready to take the next step into leadership? We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to oversee one of five engineering divisions. This unique opportunity lets you combine technical expertise with a passion for coaching and developing others.
You will lead a team of 14 engineers who work a rotating shift pattern of day and night. The role is predominantly hands‑off, but you’ll still roll up your sleeves when needed, supporting maintenance, assisting with PPM scheduling, and identifying efficiency improvements.
Join a site engineering team of 75, where collaboration and innovation are key. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engineering function and helping our people thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the engineering team: hands‑on assistance with machinery and coaching/developing engineers.
* Manage the PPM scheduling.
* Contractor and apprentice management.
* Review maintenance activity and identify improvement projects.
* Support the site and departmental 5S programme.
* Drive and support Reliability‑Centred Maintenance activities.
Skills Required
* Hands‑on maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Level 3 engineering qualification as a minimum.
* Leadership or management experience.
