My client is seeking an assistant editor to join its team responsible for RadCom publications and news desk management.
The role involves magazine production, sub-editing, article writing, and content planning. The successful candidate will work closely with the RadCom Managing Editor as a core part of the editorial team.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Key responsibilities:
* Commissioning articles and liaising with authors
* Sub-editing contributions from writers and columnists
* Guiding content for RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus
* Contributing to weekly news scripts
* Addressing queries related to technical and amateur radio licensing
* Developing the RadCom portfolio, including new media opportunities
Candidate requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is highly desirable
* Positive attitude, enthusiasm for technology, and excellent English skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of radio and electronics, including amateur radio, is a plus
