We are seeking a Band 6 Specialist Eating Disorder Practitioner with a caring, compassionate, innovative, creative, flexible, and highly motivated approach. You will primarily undertake specialist assessments, therapeutic work, and monitor physical health care for individuals with eating disorders across the Morecambe Bay area.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player, joining a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team working across Lancashire and South Cumbria, based at Harvey House in Lancaster.

As an EDS Practitioner in the specialist EDS field, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, carrying out a range of duties including:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments of new referrals
* Participating in team discussions to determine the appropriateness of specialist treatment
* Managing a clinical caseload of clients with complex needs and providing therapeutic interventions
* Supporting clients in addressing underlying causes of their eating disorder, including past trauma and abuse
* Offering guidance and support to carers
* Developing and evaluating therapeutic groups, including outcome measures
* Liaising with other professionals to manage complex client needs
* Participating in Professional Development Reviews and supporting student placements
