Our busy friendly Glasgow Southside GP practice is seeking a medical receptionist/administrator to work for 24 hours per week. The shift pattern offered is 9.30am - 6pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills, be motivated and willing to learn. We are looking for someone who can work confidently and effectively prioritise within a busy environment using their own initiative. Medical reception experience would be an advantage and a working knowledge of EMIS and Docman is helpful but not essential as training will be given. As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will have a patient-focused telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Duties include: welcoming/receiving patients at reception, making patient appointments, taking requests for home visits, answering phone calls, processing prescription requests and a range of administration duties.
