Monday 6am - 12pm
First Achieve's Engineering Department is actively recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our client in Livingston on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults using test equipment and hand tools.
* Perform electrical installations and planned preventative maintenance.
* Interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, technical drawings, and schematics.
* Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
* Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records using computer-based systems.
Skills & Experience
* Time-served Electrician with City & Guilds 2360, HNC, or equivalent qualification.
* Proven track record in fault finding and reading technical/electrical drawings.
* Experience in using test equipment and performing hands-on electrical repairs.
* Competent with electrical installations and scheduled maintenance work.
* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Computer literate and able to manage basic digital records and systems.

Essential Criteria
* Must be time-served with valid trade papers.
* Willing to work a 3-shift rotational pattern OR standard weekend hours (based on preference).
* Able to commute reliably to Livingston.
* Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
