Role details
£15 - £20 per hour, paid weekly, based in Glasgow.
The role
As a Senior Carer, you'll draw on your recent UK care experience to deliver person-centred support across a range of services. This role exists to give you genuine flexibility over when and where you work, while helping services maintain safe staffing and continuity of care. You'll work in care homes, hospitals and community settings, supported by a wider team who provide clinical and practical guidance.
What you'll be doing
Providing hands-on personal care and emotional support to residents, patients and service users.
Supporting medication prompts and care plans in line with each setting's policies.
Assisting with daily living tasks, including mobility, nutrition and hydration.
Working alongside permanent staff in care homes, hospitals, addiction services and community care.
Following safeguarding, health and safety and confidentiality procedures at all times.
Adapting quickly to new environments and documenting care provided as required.
What we're looking for
Right to work in the UK.
At least 6 months' experience in the UK within a relevant care setting in the last 3 years.
Comfortable working across different services and adapting to new teams.
Reliable, compassionate and confident supporting people with a range of needs.
