Assistant Site Manager – Internals (Residential Development)
Location: Eddington, Cambridge (CB3)

We are exclusively partnered with a bespoke, privately owned developer based in Hertfordshire to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of internal fit-out works on a flagship residential development in Eddington, Cambridge.

The Project
A 170-unit residential scheme comprising a mix of houses and low-rise apartment blocks. With superstructures complete on phase one, works are progressing internally, including mechanical and electrical installations and high-quality finishing.
The Role
Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Director, you will assist in coordinating and managing internal trades from first fix through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management of internal fit-out works across multiple units
* Coordinate subcontractors including M&E, drylining, carpentry, and finishing trades
* Monitor quality, health & safety, and programme on site
* Assist with inspections, snagging, and handover processes
* Maintain site records and support reporting to senior management
Requirements
* Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within residential construction
* Exposure to internal fit-out stages (first fix through to handover)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
* Relevant qualifications (CSCS required; SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid beneficial)
