KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Temporary – March 2026 until July 2026
Killingworth
£446.40-475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
The School and Role
We are looking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Killingworth, Tyne and Wear. The desired candidate will work as part of a wider team and will be able to offer general support to a large class of year 1 pupils and 1-1 support for those pupils working below the expected level.
Requirements
The desired candidate will:
1. Ideally have experience working as a Teaching Assistant at Level 1 or higher in a primary school environment or similar.
2. Be expected to work on a 1-1 basis with pupils needing extra support.
3. Have a genuine desire to want to better the education of children.
4. Be friendly, committed and driven.
