Job description
Due to increased demand, Silver Cloud Care NI is recruiting Care Assistants to provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own home. If you’re passionate about leadership in care and want to support one family in making every day count we’d love to hear from you. We offer immediate interviews, competitive rate of pay, flexible working hours, minimum call time 1 hour. MUST Drive. PLACE OF WORK: Co Antrim -Ballymena Antrim Ballyclare FLEXIBLE HOURS: One example: Monday 12 to 2 Tuesday 12 to 2 Wednesday 3pm to 6pm Thursday 9.30am to11am, 12 to 2pm Friday 10am to1pm, 1.30pm to 5.30pm Sat 10am to 11am Sun 10am to 11am RATE OF PAY: £14 per hour plus travel allowance
Responsibilities
* Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Support independence with dignity and respect.
* Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
* Meal preparation.
* Provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
* Social Outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops.
* Light household duties.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Driver with access to own car.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)
* A caring and friendly nature.
* A non judgemental approach to care.
Further Information
You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register) Complete all mandatory training.
