This is a Temporary to Permanent vancancy.
To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an Estimator or Technical Sales role within a manufacturing or engineering setting
* A HND in Mechanical Engineering or completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
* Confident using Excel (including formulas), Outlook, and Word
* Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - with a professional phone manner
* A proactive team player who's well-organised, detail-focused, and able to prioritise multiple demands
Within this position, you ll also be:
* Produce accurate quotations using customer drawings and CNC manufacturing knowledge
* Perform contract reviews for approved quotes, ensuring correct pricing, revisions, and quantities
* Be the main point of contact for customer queries, handling both technical and commercial matters
* Proactively develop new customer relationships and support existing ones
* Coordinate visits and meetings for the Commercial Manager
* Collaborate closely with planning, production control, and engineering departments
