Your new role As Communications Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering clear, engaging, and impactful communications that reflect the organisation's values and culture. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract with the potential for permanency. Your responsibilities will include: Internal Communications: Keep employees informed and connected through newsletters, SharePoint updates, email communications, and signage. Organise engagement and wellbeing events, manage branded materials, and act as a brand ambassador. External Communications: Create and schedule social media content, assist with presentations and videos, maintain media archives, update website content, coordinate press releases, and produce quarterly SHEQ updates. Client & Industry Engagement: Support business development activities, prepare tender documentation, manage external events, and maintain accurate contact lists. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 3 years' experience in a communications, PR, or marketing role. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and design tools such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator. Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. A third-level qualification in Communications, PR, or Marketing is desirable.
