Assistant Manager - Financial Services Audit
You must be willing to relocate to the Isle of Man to apply.
Responsibilities
* Plan, manage and deliver Financial Services audit engagements from start to completion
* Review audit work, financial statements and reports to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
* Manage budgets, timelines and resources across engagements
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
* Support Managers and Partners with engagement delivery and technical matters
* Coach, mentor and develop junior team members through effective feedback and on-the-job training
* Provide technical input on audit, accounting and regulatory matters and contribute to internal training initiatives
* Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and efficiency
* Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the Financial Services audit practice
Key Skills & Experience
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
* Proven experience managing and delivering audit engagements, ideally within Financial Services
* Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members
* Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident communicator with strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to audit quality and continuous improvement
