About the Role
As a Behaviour Specialist TA, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils presenting behavioural, emotional, or social needs.
* Implement de‑escalation strategies and positive behaviour interventions.
* Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral staff, and class teachers to create supportive learning environments.
* Help pupils develop self‑regulation, confidence, and positive relationships.
* Support the wider classroom environment to maintain calm and focused behaviour.
* Record and report behaviour patterns and progress to staff teams.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs.
* Understands positive behaviour support strategies and de‑escalation techniques.
* Remains calm, patient, and resilient in challenging situations.
* Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
* Works collaboratively within a busy school environment.
* Holds relevant TA qualifications or has strong SEN/behaviour‑based experience.
