🔎 Land Acquisition Specialist – Renewables (12-Month Contract)
An exciting opportunity to join a leading renewable energy developer on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and securing new solar, BESS, and wind sites across the South West, South Central England, West Midlands, and South Wales.
Key responsibilities:
* Identify and qualify suitable land for renewable energy projects.
* Build strong relationships with landowners and negotiate option and lease agreements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and legal partners to deliver projects to “shovel-ready” status.
* Manage project documentation and drive timelines through to completion.
1. What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in land negotiation and acquisition (Heads of Terms, Options, Leases).
* Strong understanding of property and land law.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Interest in renewable energy and willingness to travel regionally.
