Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a growing manufacturing team in Hull, providing essential maintenance support to ensure operations run efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolution to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for equipment and process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
About You:
- Time-served engineer with a mechanical bias and some electrical experience (ideally with 17th/18th Edition, but not essential).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards challenges.
