As a key member of the planning team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain hands-on experience, and learn from industry experts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, including research, site assessments, and document preparation.
2. Support the development and implementation of planning strategies and policies for projects in Manchester.
3. Conduct consultations with stakeholders, community groups, and local authorities.
4. Prepare reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate planning proposals effectively.
5. Stay updated on relevant planning legislation, policies, and best practices.
Requirements:
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, Geography, or a related field.
7. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
8. Proficiency in GIS software and other planning tools is desirable.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Genuine interest in urban planning and development, with a desire to make a positive impact on Manchester's built environment.
