Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Bath/NE Somerset that’s looking for a dedicated and resourceful Teaching Assistant to join their team early in 2026.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting young people and wants to play an active role in helping students feel confident, included and ready to learn.
The role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with classroom teachers and the SENCo to provide tailored support to students across the school. Your focus will be on promoting inclusion, encouraging independence, and helping students make meaningful progress, both academically and personally.
You’ll be supporting learning in the classroom, building positive relationships with students, and adapting your approach to meet a range of needs. No two days will look the same, and that’s part of what makes this role so rewarding.

We’re looking for someone who is:

3. Experienced in working with children, ideally in a school or similar setting
4. Knowledgeable about classroom roles and how to support learning effectively
