Location: Portsmouth, PO2
Salary: £29,000 per annum + Sleep-In Enhancements + Overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (shift work including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Setting: Ofsted-Regulated Children's Home (3-bed)

What You'll Do
* Provide daily care and support — including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, and maintaining routines
* Build meaningful relationships with young people through consistent emotional support and positive behaviour management
* Encourage learning and development by supporting school attendance, helping with homework, and engaging in social, leisure, and life-skill activities
* Safeguard and protect — ensuring the safety of all young people and reporting any concerns in line with safeguarding policies
* Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Therapists, Youth Offending Teams, and internal colleagues to deliver holistic, person-centred care

Requirements
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
* Willingness to work on a rota (including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)
* Commitment to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already achieved)
