The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping the production plant running efficiently. That means:
* Routine and preventative maintenance on key assets
* Rapid fault finding and repairs when things go wrong
* Supporting continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis
* Working across gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and pipework
* Collaborating with a multi-skilled engineering team
What You'll Need
We're after someone who's practical, proactive, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. You'll ideally bring:
* A mechanical qualification (ONC/HNC or NVQ level 3)
* Strong experience in a manufacturing environment
* Solid knowledge of pumps, valves, bearings, and drives
* Basic understanding of pneumatics and fluid systems
* Bonus: any electrical appreciation or experience in FMCG
