Responsibilities
Product planning
1. Plan and procure 'newly designed' materials required for verification and validation of resourced product.
2. Develop cost projections to accurately predict cost comparisons to support supply chain change.
3. Ensure SAP Planning and Master data is accurately maintained in conjunction with planned changes.
4. Define and maintain product routings for both production and development.
5. Complete Quality System related actions in a timely manner according to procedures. CAPA,(Corrective and Preventive actions) NCR(Non-Conformance Report)
Repairs planning
6. Raising Production Rework orders.
7. Raising of Purchase Orders for refurbishments.
8. Review and acceptance/refusal of supplier quotes for refurbishment.
9. Ensure ‘On Time and In Full’ purchase order delivery for refurbishments.
10. Ensure that credit is obtained from Suppliers for supplier caused failures.
11. Timely resolution of invoice/ delivery queries.
12. Any other related duties as specified by the Line Manager for the benefit of the dept.
Qualifications
Experience
13. Experience in any purchasing, supply chain or buying role.
14. We are open to candidates from different industries or backgrounds.
15. knowledge of engineering concepts could be useful, but this is also something we can train.
16. Experience of using SAP.
17. Financial acumen – Understands the impact of supply chain decisions on the P&L.
