Care Deputy Manager – Dewsbury

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £14.36 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Coordinate the assessments of individual service users, drawing up their service plans in conjunction with other professionals.
* Review, reassess and change service plans to ensure they remain up‑to‑date and meet individual needs.
* Allocate implementation and recording of service plans to staff members, providing training where required.
* Offer individual support and assess specialist support needs when necessary.
* Enable service users to express their views and incorporate these into service plan objectives and provision.
* Develop training opportunities for service users to acquire new skills.
* Communicate information to all service users on their contracts, quality measurements and complaints procedure.
* Maintain a high standard of professional care at all times.
* Foster positive contact between the centre and families/carers, encouraging active participation in planning.
* Lead and manage staffing as required.

* Experience working with adults with autism or learning disabilities.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and a passion for making a positive difference.
* Health & Social Level 3 Adults qualification (essential).

Additional Information
* Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment. The disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
* T&C’s will be paid following the successful completion of a six‑month probationary period.
