Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below) The ideal Children’s Mentor will have: A calm, positive, and resilient approach to managing challenging behaviour Strong empathy and the ability to build trusting relationships with vulnerable pupils A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs, behavioural difficulties, or complex backgrounds Previous experience in education, youth work, mentoring, alternative provision, PRU, or pastoral support A strong belief in safeguarding and child protection Most importantly, you will be inspired by seeing young people develop in confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve their potential.
