The team…

The Council has a Disability Support Team which forms part of the wider Occupational Health & Safety Team. The team assists and advises managers regarding disabled employees and their working environment. Operational Disability Support Workers provide support to individual council employees as specified through the Access to Work scheme.


About the role…

We are looking to appoint an individual to work alongside one of our supported employees to assist with a variety of administration tasks. The role is part-time, 8 hours a week.

The role involves tasks such as navigating and inputting information onto social care systems, minute taking, proofreading, and managing sensitive information ensuring confidentiality and data protection are always maintained.

You should have knowledge of administrative systems and processes, experience with software packages such as Microsoft Office, minute taking, data protection requirements, and working in an administrative setting. You should have 5 GCSEs at grade A-C or 9-4 including Maths and English or an equivalent qualification or relevant demonstrable experience.
