Commercial Account Handler - Remote, Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire
This role is for a highly regarded independent Commercial Broker seeking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams. Candidates should have previous commercial insurance experience to support a diverse client base.
The Account Handler will assist the Account Executive with managing client portfolios, including contract renewals. They will serve as the first point of contact for external queries, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
This is a remote position with occasional office visits.
About the role:
* Deliver high-quality, efficient service to clients.
* Collaborate closely with Account Executives to provide comprehensive insurance services.
* Handle clients ranging from small to large corporate risks.
* Ensure documentation for insurance placement, amendments, or renewals is completed accurately and promptly.
* Promote a professional and customer-focused company image.
Key skills/experience required:
* Experience in commercial insurance account handling and relevant technical knowledge.
* Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent relationship-building skills.
* Experience with Acturis software.
* Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information quickly.
* Negotiation and influencing skills.
* Willingness to pursue CII qualifications is a plus.
