Overview
My client is seeking an Estimator to play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative, and commercially successful projects. Working closely with the Managing Director and operations team, you\ll help ensure every project runs smoothly, on budget, and to the highest standards—all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead the estimating process across a diverse range of construction projects.
* Prepare and review detailed cost estimates.
* Liaise with trade partners, suppliers, and the project team.
* Produce accurate estimates and purchase orders.
* Manage vendor bid pricing and carry out cost analysis.
* Review drawings and specifications to fully understand project scope.
* Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships.
* Ensure estimates, budgets, and programmes are delivered on time.
What We\re Looking For
We\re seeking someone with a strong background in construction estimating or quantity surveying, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact.
* Proven experience in estimating or quantity surveying.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* A detail-focused and analytical approach.
* Confidence in managing budgets and meeting deadlines.
* Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
