We are looking for a hard working and reliable Cook/Chef to join our small team in the kitchen at Union Street Brasserie. We are an independent restaurant in the centre of Yeovil town centre with a good reputation of home cooked food.

A sensible work life balance working 32-40 per week with straight shifts of 8 hours between the following 8am - 5pm. We open 7 days a week.
Friday and Saturday evening working will be required occasionally for private parties.
The successful candidate will:
Be able to work as a part of a team in an efficient manner
Be able to work under own initiative
Be self-motivated, confident, thrive under pressure and stay calm
Have a good communication skills – written and oral
Have an eye for detail
Be knowledgeable in Level 2 Hygiene, Health and Safety and hold a current certificate.
