Clarence Recruitment are urgently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French or Spanish) to join a high-performing co-educational secondary school in Rugby. This is an excellent long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent following a successful initial period.
The successful candidate will teach French or Spanish up to GCSE level, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for suitably experienced teachers. You will be joining a well-resourced school with state-of-the-art facilities and a highly supportive Head of Languages, offering a positive and progressive working environment.
This role is ideal for a dynamic MFL teacher looking to develop their career within a successful school that values high-quality teaching and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons in French or Spanish
Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations
Inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities
Maintain positive classroom behaviour and strong pupil relationships
Contribute positively to the wider school community and department
Requirements
Applicants must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a UK-recognised teaching qualification
Legal right to work in the UK
Ability to teach French or Spanish to GCSE level
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Overseas police clearance where applicable
Satisfactory professional references
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
