Are you passionate about developing people and driving organisational change? Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Learning & Organisational Development Facilitator to join our Education & Learning team.
In this senior role, you will use your specialist knowledge to identify, design, deliver, and evaluate education and learning programmes that support our organisational objectives and workforce needs. You will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing core learning programmes (including induction, PADR, pre-retirement, statutory/mandatory training, and management development pathways) and act as an expert and advocate for education and learning across the Health Board.
You will work closely with key stakeholders in Culture, OD & Staff Experience, Careers, and Equality & Widening Access, supporting the delivery of leadership and organisational development initiatives that develop our managers and leaders. As a senior leader, you will also provide management cover for Education Centres and teams across the Health Board.
In addition, you will lead on any national programmes aligned to the Education & Learning portfolio, ensuring Swansea Bay UHB contributes to and benefits from wider NHS Wales initiatives and developments.
Main duties of the job
Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of core learning and leadership programmes.
Support the Head of Education & Learning with operational management of staff and services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver transformational leadership development in line with the SBUHB People Strategy.
Ensure consistency and quality in learning and development delivery, measuring impact and reporting outcomes.
Provide hands-on delivery of development programmes aligned to organisational priorities.
Oversee e-learning projects and monitor compliance.
Manage and develop staff, supporting their personal and professional growth.
Act as site manager for Education Centres, ensuring effective resource allocation and service delivery.
Drive service improvement, innovation, and modernisation within education and learning.
Analyse and interpret data to inform programme development and delivery.
Represent the department at meetings and resolve complex issues as required.

Essential criteria
1. Educated to Masters Degree level or equivalent professional experience
2. Sound knowledge of OD and techniques of delivery, assessment, and evaluation
3. Accredited or experienced Coach
Desirable criteria
4. Organisational Development Practitioner
5. Psychometrics Practitioner i.e. MBTI
Experience
Essential criteria
6. Experience of Managing Change and Organisational Development within complex working environments
7. Experience of delivering Learning & Development interventions to achieve cultural change
8. Experience of delivering a wide range of OD programmes but specifically leadership development programmes at senior management level, experience of leading on the implementation of projects
9. Evidence of return from investment of personal development programmes, interventions, and practices
