Guinness World Records are looking for a Business Analyst to work with its agile development team to enhance and test their internal bespoke platforms.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop effective working relationship with internal customers to understand new system features
* Translate those requirements into user stories for sprints
* Act as the customer representative within the development team
* Oversee testing on behalf of the customer working with the junior tester
* Provide regular progress updates to the customer
* Provide helpdesk support as and when required
This role has direct customer engagement, so the candidate needs to have a positive, customer-friendly nature and the ability to deal face to face with customers.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with automated testing tools
* Working in an Agile development team
* Writing user stories
* Experience of a variety of different industries and business processes
* Experience dealing with public facing websites
* Able to suggest creative solutions
