Junior Buyer
Location & Setup: Manchester (site-based role, Monday to Friday)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
About the Role
We're partnering with a leading multi-branded fast-paced manufacturing business that is continuing to grow, and as part of that expansion, we're recruiting a brand-new Junior Buyer to join their procurement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop within buying and supply chain. You'll support the Purchasing Manager and wider operations team, source materials (directs & packaging), manage supplier information, and ensure the smooth running of daily production activities.

Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials in line with production requirements.
Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
Support supplier evaluations and wider sourcing activities.
Maintain supplier files and build accurate supplier databases.
Assist with cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Work closely with production, operations, and supply chain teams to support efficient day-to-day processes and new product launches.
Provide administrative and purchasing support to the Purchasing Manager.
What You'll Bring
Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Interest in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
A proactive, team-focused approach with good communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a desire to build long-term procurement expertise.
