Job Type: Temporary (1 month during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival)
Location: Edinburgh Festival
Pay rate £15ph
Start date will be Saturday 26th July and run for the full period of the festival
7 days per week shifts available
We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our vibrant toastie stall at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This is a fantastic opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a bustling festival environment and has a passion for creating delicious, high-quality food.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to start on the 26th July
Day-to-day of the role:
Prepare a variety of toasties and other simple dishes to a high standard.
Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
Keep the kitchen area clean and organised.
Engage with customers, taking orders and serving food promptly and courteously.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef/Cook.
Must possess a current food hygiene certificate.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
