Purpose Of The Job Provide qualified driver support to Residents with occasional support to the other service users. Maintain Deafway vehicles in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Provide general maintenance support across the site. General Duties Operate two converted cars and a 15-seater minibus to transport passengers to and from designated locations. Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicles. Plan routes and adhere to schedules and timetables. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility needs. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and journey logs. Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies. General Maintenance support. Ensure confidentiality of information, that meet with GDPR regulations and Deafway policy. Assist in promoting and maintaining own and others’ health, safety and security as defined in the Health & Safety Policy and Fire Procedures. Work effectively as part of a team and support all colleagues as required. Ensure professional conduct observing the Deafway Code of Conduct.
