The Woodhouse Partnership Ltd part of RSK Group is hiring for a Decision Analytics & Implementation Consultant (DST) to join the team on a Hybrid basis from the head office in Kingsclere, Newbury, Hampshire, UK.
The purpose of the role is to strengthen TWPL's Decision Support Tool capability by combining technical excellence, data analytics, and client consulting. Configure and implement decision models; enable clients and consultants through high‑quality training and documentation; manage and manipulate data to support credible insights and BI; provide product feedback that improves usability and performance; help position TWPL competitively in investment planning and asset management analytics.
TWPL operates globally across asset‑intensive sectors: energy and utilities; oil and gas; chemicals; mining; transport and logistics; government and infrastructure; manufacturing. Clients seek clear, defensible, value‑based investment decisions, supported by transparent analytics and effective change management. The Decision Analytics & Implementation Consultant ensures our tools are easy to adopt, data‑driven, credible with executives and engineers, and competitive against leading decision analytics providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and validate decision models—value frameworks, risk models, lifecycle costing, constrained portfolio optimisation—ensuring they're technically sound, practical to use, and aligned to each client's strategic context.
Prepare, cleanse and structure data with clients; define minimum viable datasets; establish repeatable data pipelines and quality checks that enable robust insights.
Design scenario and sensitivity analyses that help executives see trade‑offs clearly and make confident, defensible decisions.
Facilitate cross‑functional client workshops that bring together engineering, finance, operations and leadership teams to build shared understanding, strengthen consensus, and secure commitment to decisions.
Grow capability
Design and deliver high‑quality training—onboarding, analyst deep dives, admin training, and train-the‑trainer pathways—building competent users who understand not just how to use DST, but why it works.
Create practical exercises, guides and assessments that support learning and adoption.
Support the Woodhouse Academy, embedding DST into wider capability‑building programmes.
Shape the product
Gather structured feedback from clients and consultants; convert insights into user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear requirements that improve usability, performance, and value delivery.
Participate in testing and release validation, making sure each update is dependable and grounded in real‑world use cases.
Maintain high‑quality documentation—configuration guides, release notes, integration instructions, and knowledge‑base content.
Lead thinking & amplify our impact
Build compelling presales assets—demo environments, white papers, case studies, ROI narratives—and act as a trusted technical voice in proposals and discovery calls.
Develop dashboards and BI outputs that communicate insights to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Participate in industry events and user groups - share stories, lessons, and best practices that showcase DST's credibility and expand its user community.
Person Specification:
Ideally 4 to 7 years in technical consulting or product specialist roles within analytics, asset management, or decision support, ideally in B2B or professional services.
Proven configuration of decision or investment models: lifecycle cost modelling; risk and consequence analysis; portfolio constraints; scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Hands‑on data skills: advanced Excel; ideally also practical experience in SQL, Python, R or SAS.
Experience preparing, cleansing, and validating data for modelling and BI.
Desirables:
Familiarity with the SALVO methodology and DST Evaluator Suite software for structured, value‑based decision-making.
Experience with EAM systems (Maximo, SAP).
Familiarity with ISO 55000 principles, reliability engineering, performance and risk management, lifecycle costing methodologies.
Portfolio optimisation concepts and solver‑based modelling.
Experience with cloud analytics platforms (Azure, AWS), ETL tools, API development, dashboards.
Salary & Benefits:
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum + performance based bonus
