We are seeking a recent Grdauate in Finance or Accountancy to work with our Energy client for a 12 month contract.
Ideally you will be based in the Aberdeen area and happy to consider a 12 month contract.
MAIN DUTIES
Finance Administration
Process all Purchase Orders as required by Finance team and preparation of back up documents
Raise invoices and preparation of back up documents to relevant SPVs
General administration support to the finance function
Compliance and Governance
Prepare balance reconciliations and internal controls to be signed off Senior Accountant & Finance Controller
Prepare supplier contracts register for all business areas
Maintain financial and internal control timetable
Support Compliance checks for new suppliers
Financial Accounting & Tax
Support Statutory accounts process
Management Information
Liaise with stakeholders across other departments to aid the efficient accomplishment of daily tasks and build relationships
Support Financial Controller for Budget and long term plan process
Support the Financial accountant with month end, quarterly and year end accounting process
Support the Financial Accountant on Government reporting
Accounts Payable (AP) and Receivable (AR)
PROCESS POs
Support on expense claims made by the team
Work with outsourced AP and AR to ensure vendors & SPVs are paid/paying accurately with appropriate controls.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate Profile (Mandatory Field)
Finance Graduate
Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Excel
