We are offering a range of teaching opportunities across a group of colleges in the Construction Trades department, with roles in the following areas:
* Carpentry & Joinery
* Plumbing
* Plastering
* Painting & Decorating
Role types include a variety of positions: Trade Lecturers, Programme Leads, and Curriculum Managers. We welcome applicants with or without formal teaching qualifications and can provide training to help you achieve teaching qualifications.
Responsibilities
* Trade Lecturers: Deliver engaging, practical lessons in Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, or Painting & Decorating, ensuring students gain hands-on skills and technical knowledge for their careers.
* Programme Leads: Oversee the delivery of construction trade programmes, manage a team of educators, and ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards.
* Curriculum Managers: Develop and manage high-quality curriculum content to provide comprehensive, practical education in the chosen trade.
Qualifications And Experience
* Expertise in one or more of the following trades: Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, or Painting & Decorating.
* Previous experience in the relevant trade industry is essential.
* No formal teaching qualification required at this stage; the organisation can provide training to achieve teaching qualifications.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to helping students reach their potential.
