We’ll help you succeed: Our work is underpinned by a commitment to quality. We deliver trustworthy, transparent audits relied upon by companies and stakeholders. You’ll be proactive, manage your own tasks, and collaborate effectively with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate reporting and provide long-term value.
Responsibilities include:
1. Acting as a major point of contact within the firm, responding quickly and anticipating requests, and keeping stakeholders informed about audit progress.
2. Managing the financial aspects of a portfolio, ensuring compliance with risk management and quality control procedures.
3. Identifying and supporting business and sales opportunities.
4. Supporting Partners and Senior Managers in developing new business relationships and proposals through sales and marketing activities.
5. Recruiting, retaining, developing, and motivating employees, participating in graduate recruitment, completing appraisal documentation, and setting objectives and development plans.
6. Working as part of the management team on resource planning, merit reviews, and efficiency improvements.
7. Representing the firm at marketing events and staying informed about the firm’s services.
Qualifications and experience required:
* ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
* Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
* Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, advice issues, regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
* Experience in systems/controls testing, substantive auditing, consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
* Project management experience.
