The Apprentice Engineer will work under the supervision of the engineering team to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
What you’ll do:
* Carry out CBM activities, electrical & mechanical fault finding, diagnosis, routine & reactive maintenance, testing, and repair techniques.
* Participate fully in the training program, including attending relevant courses to develop your proficiency & professional competence.
* Take ownership of your development by maintaining your workplace portfolio and college work logbook.
* Learn about the AM/PM process to cover all equipment across the site, including defining, standardising, and training on Safe Systems Of Work (SSOW) & Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP) and understanding how they impact business strategy.
* Participate in equipment reliability planning to reduce failures and minimize their effects.
* Support the Cost Deployment process through cost-effective project participation, delivering performance and financially driven projects that will contribute to the Capex Road Map for the site.
What you’ll bring:
* 4 or more GCSEs grades 9-4/A*-C or equivalent, including English Language, English Literature, Maths, and Science.
* Enthusiastic and ambitious with a strong eagerness to learn.
* Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Punctual, organized, and committed to high-quality work.
