The position is based at our SEN School in Congleton, Cheshire, supporting vulnerable young people aged 8-18 with SEMH.

Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Degree qualification or equivalent
* Experience as a Design Technology teacher
* Ability to teach across core curriculum subjects, especially maths
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
* Innovative pedagogy
* Assessment without levels and progress tracking
* Knowledge of statutory assessments at various key stages
* Behavior management strategies
* Understanding of inclusion, SEMH, EAL, bilingual learners, minority ethnic achievement, and equality
* Safeguarding knowledge, especially for vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils
* Strategies for closing the achievement gap
* Willingness to teach a range of subjects
* Understanding of SEND needs, including SEMH
* Contributing to educational and social development
