Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role of a health care support worker on the frailty ward is to provide high standards of patient care, providing personal care, helping patients with their dietary and fluid intake, helping them use the toilet, and to assist with repositioning.
Good communication skills are essential in this role, alongside the ability to document and escalat e any worries to the trained staff.
Experience

* Proven experience in ward environment

* Demonstrate ability to communicate orally and in writing
* Demonstrate knowledge of roles and responsibilities within clinical setting
* Keyboard Skills
* Demonstrate ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
* A minimum Maths and English GCSE grades 3 - 9 or grades A,B,C,D or equivalent qualifications
* Diploma level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
