We ask all applicants to apply through SAMpeople Recruit/Face-Ed; our recruitment software. This enables us to efficiently carry out our safer recruitment checks, but we recognise it can take some time for the applicant. The good news is, you will only need to register for Face-Ed once to apply for any role in the Halliard Trust's 11 schools.
Our tips for a painless process are as follows:
Because SAMpeople Recruit is cloud based software, it is possible for you to experience a break in connection and you won't necessarily know about it straight away. We therefore strongly recommend that you prepare your main application content in a different package like MS Word/Notepad and copy and paste it into your application form in the relevant sections.
If you get a message saying "Validation Error" it isn't a software fault. It means you have entered data in a format that wasn't expected and it is causing a problem with saving. This might mean you have entered words in a box that expects numbers, for example.
We reserve the right to extend, withdraw or close vacancies at any time and without notice.

Jackson Road, Congleton
Cheshire
CW12 1NT
United Kingdom
Located in the town of Congleton, Cheshire, Eaton Bank Academy is a co-educational secondary school. With around 750 pupils aged 11-18, Eaton Bank Academy is smaller than the average school of its type, with the sixth form being responsible for around 120 of these. Eaton Academy was only founded in the year 2000, following a re-organisation of a number of other local schools. In 2012, the school converted to an academy, but is not part of any multi-academy trust. Owing to its relatively recent founding, the school can boast of a wide range of modern sports facilities, including tennis courts, a gymnasium and a fully equipped sports hall.

Values and Vision
Eaton Bank Academy maintains a close working relationship with parents, in order to ensure that they are properly able to guide their child's learning and give them support outside of school. As for the students themselves, Eaton Bank Academy encourages them to have high expectations of both themselves and their school, and to guide their own learning. This is intended to best prepare them for life in the world of work, and to this end the school also works hard to offer a wide variety of both vocational and academic subject at Key Stage 4 and sixth form.
Ofsted
"The quality of teaching has improved rapidly since the last inspection and is now consistently good across a wide range of subjects. Teachers have high expectations of students, and students themselves demonstrate sustained engagement in their learning. They make good progress."
