Jackson Hogg Procurement division are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a global organisation, with headquarters based in Billingham, on the appointment of a Buyer to join their team, initially on a 6 month fixed-term contract basis. The role will be based on site in Billingham with working hours of either 08.00-16.00 or 09.00-17.00 depending on preference. Salary on offer is £(phone number removed) depending on experience. This role requires attention to detail, strong processing and problem-solving skills, good organisation, task and timeline focus and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a pro-active mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Procurement, Contracts, Projects and other key disciplines to ensure a robust RFQ process is followed when required and to ensure we drive savings and reduced lead times proactively as a standard business process model.
